The bottoms are quite a bit thicker than the rims so they are well balanced. Though they are thin glass it is good quality. I accidentally banged one against the cabinet unloading them from the dishwasher and was surprised it didn't even crack.
They do come double boxed and with a sticker on the bottom of every glass. I just ripped the glossy sticker off to expose the paper and glue stuck to the glass then loaded them all in the dishwasher and ran it with hot water. I pulled the glasses out before allowing them to dry and just peeled the rest off. Super easy! Other methods of removing the adhesive are using nail polish remover, rubbing alcohol, and I've heard olive oil works, but because I always have rubbing alcohol I usually just use that. Works every time. Ladies, use the same method you use to remove your nail polish just with a good terry cloth rag that will add some scrubbing power. Larger martini glasses. Only problem is they came with a UPC sticker on the bottom of each one that was a pain to get off!

My only complaint ... it might be too generous a serving. With a tasty drink, you just might have a tendency to slurp it down too quickly for your own good. The design is very stable and is simple and elegant. They stack compactly upside down and can be stored in your freezer. Also great for margueritas, manhattans or the like. Great for serving chilled soups or even tapas like marinated olives or spiced nuts because they really show off the contents. And a box of a dozen can be purchased for about the same price as a set of four similar glasses by their competitors. Let's party!
