The same great quality of other Spiegelau products, August 16, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Spiegelau Vino Vino Martini Glass, Set of 4 (Kitchen) As is usual with this brand, the build quality is top notch, made of thin crystal that has a nice sparkle to it yet is strong enough for everyday use and dishwasher cleaning.

Not so great, February 12, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Spiegelau Vino Vino Martini Glass, Set of 4 (Kitchen) First, one of the glasses arrived broken at the stem, so I returned them. This is not supposed to be part of the score, although it may suggest that the glasses are fragile. I had a chance to inspect the other three of them, and I wasn't very impressed. One of them had a noticeable flaw near the top: apparently an air bubble created a small cavity on the inner surface, so the glass actually had a small "bite."
I must also mention a few things about these glasses which are not obvious from the picture, but become obvious once you hold them in your hand. The stem and bowl are clearly two separate components which were fused together, and the stem has a visible vertical seam. Also, two of the glasses were slightly unbalanced. These features are not crucial to me, but don't expect perfection from these glasses.
I was expecting much greater quality because, at $11.26/glass, they are 3.5 times more expensive than, say, the $3.26/glass Libbey Vina set, which I just... Read more
